Wednesday January 8, 2014 ”Visible Faith, Powerful Results”

Mark 2:5  When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
Interestingly, Jesus forgives the paralytic instead of healing him first.  The four men didn’t bring their friend to confession but to what they thought would be a healing service at the neighbor’s house.
Today as we pray let our focus be on the subject that God knows best – how to answer prayer.  We may pray God bless a certain person who is a leader but the Lord knows what is best and will bring the most effective change.  Our Heavenly Father might answer the prayer by humbling that person as He did with Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel.  The man was humbled and became like an animal with claws, hair that was like feathers or fur and he ate grass for a season.
When you pray don’t get discouraged waiting for the final outcome; the paralytic in Mark 2 was healed and he received forgiveness which was most important.
