Tuesday January 21, 2014 “Pray to the Lord”
Numbers 21:7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.
The rejected leader is now the coveted intercessor. The persecuted becomes the one pleading for the persecutors. Pray that God-rejectors in America feel the pain of the serpents (Satan’s) sting and turn to God’s people like here in our Bible text and with Daniel and Joseph. Pray that we will respond with godly intercession.
