We Are The People

Numbers 21:8  The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.”

In the Gospel of John we are told that in His crucifixion Jesus was raised up like the brazen serpent.  As the brazen serpent was made in the likeness of the fiery serpents, Jesus came in the likeness of man.  When He was lifted up on the cross Jesus removed the sting of sin that results in death.

Today, let us pray that America sees that there is no remedy for sin but that which God provides through the blood of Jesus Christ, the God-man.  There are many things we do incarceration, counselling, etc. but only a new creation of God emerging provides the permanent cure for sin.
