We Are The People

Luke 1:18 And Zacharias said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”

    The elderly priest expresses concern about the promise he and his wife received.  At times, God’s promises seem beyond belief when the trial is difficult and the words of hope seem trite.

    Especially to a man in today’s world it seems it’s a part of a person’s fabric in life to be employed and have job security. Many become depressed due to their lack of employment or having a good job.  God’s promise of meeting every need and satisfying the desire to take care of a family begins to seem like a dream instead of an established promise from heaven.

  Pray today that people not try to figure things out and instead choose to accept God’s Word and act upon that word concerning employment.  God gives favor and He opens doors when we are faithful to Him.
