Sunday February 2, 2014 “Super Sunday”

Joshua 1:3 “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.”
May God richly bless you for joining us tonight at WATP on this Super Sunday 2014.  Both the Broncos and the Seahawks are claiming the ground they play on this evening.  Only one team will come out the winner tonight but as believers in Jesus Christ every one of us can claim the promises for life found in the Word of God and we will find victory in the Name of Jesus.
Tonight we will begin our prayer time on the East Coast just about “kick off” time.  Those on the West Coast begin their time of intercession around the end of the game.  People will be cheering on both teams tonight.  If you are on the West Coast – hope you read the prayer focuses early today.
Prayer Focus #1:  That God watch over and protect those attending the game tonight and following the game.  Pray a shield of protection over players and fans.
Prayer Focus #2:  Pray that both teams play the best they can, yet only one will be the ultimate winner.  There are Christians on both teams – intercede for them that they will be a force for good in keeping a right spirit on the grid iron tonight.
Prayer Focus #3:  Pray that there be honor given to God at the end of the game and that people might be challenged to faith by the testimony of Godly players and coaches.
