We Are The People

Joshua 3:15-16 “¹⁵ and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), ¹⁶ that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho.”

 Yesterday we talked about and prayed for the Super Bowl game.  Both teams desired to win, practiced and played hard but only Seattle won, even though both teams claimed the ground they played on like God told Joshua to do concerning the Promised Land.

 There is power in claiming the word of God and his blessings in life.  In Joshua chapter three when just the feet of the priests touched the waters of the Jordan River the waters parted.  The priests obeyed the word of God.  This opened the way for all of the children of Israel to enter the blessings of God and enjoy them.

 Pray today in agreement that the Christian players on the Championship team use that platform to influence others through media and personal witness of their faith in Jesus Christ.
