We Are The People

Romans 13:8   Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

      When love frees us from sin, we become debtors.  When we receive God’s love in salvation we share love with other people which in turn obligates them to love.  So in that sense we are put in debt for a lifetime and we put others in debt.

     But the Bible says, “Owe no man nothing but to love him”.

     Pray in agreement today that American Christians obey this command and begin to act like we want to pay the debt off (but we know we can’t).  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our entire nation found itself in debt and paying on that debt daily?  I believe we would see a societal transformation as a result because love does no ill to its neighbor and it never fails.
