We Are The People

2Kings 4:7  Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

 The man of God did not reveal the end of the miracle until this point. Pour, sell the oil, get out of debt and live on the rest.  Great plan but a progressive revelation to test the heart of the widow.  The oil stopped its flow when the last pot was full. Now the miracle would no longer be behind closed doors.  The open testimony began when the woman paid off all of the debt left by her husband and her family was provided for.  The fruit of the miracle could now be seen by many.  Jesus told some people not to go to people immediately about what He did in their life.

   Pray today that people be willing to wait to hear from God as their miracles unfold and not doubt His faithfulness.  Also pray that people keep the work of God close to their heart when He desires for the right time to arrive and God receive the most glory, like the man Jesus healed of blindness. It was God’s perfect time to promote His work in the man just as in the miracle of the oil multiplied to provide for the precious family left without a “dad”.
