We Are The People

Neh 2:11 “So I came to Jerusalem and was there three days.”

 Ezra was a contemporary of Nehemiah.  In Ezra 8:32 we are told that he waited 3 days, as Nehemiah did also before doing anything.  This is a lesson to wait on the Lord. King David, we are told in 1Chronicles 17:16, did the same.

   We like to rush into things when we would do better to wait in quiet reflection to allow God’s call to participate in His work of restoration become a part of our spiritual D.N.A.  If not, we may falter and even fail to complete the good work God has for us in this day.  Jesus taught “Count the Cost” before building.  We would do well to obey that command.

Prayer Focus: Pray that Christians take the time to consider first the desperate times we are in and challenges we face.  Then once convinced of the great work we must undertake – do all to God’s glory and with unwavering resolve to see America return to God.
