Wednesday March 19, 2014 “Work for All”

Neh 3:1, 32    “Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests and built the Sheep Gate; they consecrated it and hung its doors. They built as far as the Tower of the Hundred, and consecrated it, then as far as the Tower of Hananel.
32 And between the upper room at the corner, as far as the Sheep Gate, the goldsmiths and the merchants made repairs.”
The Book of Nehemiah is all about work. There was work for all to do.  All could not do the same work but all could do some.  The priests v.1 and the merchants made repairs. Each one was blessed by God with certain expertise which they used in the rebuilding of the walls.
Today let us pray in agreement that believers in Christ will be willing to, as Jesus taught, bring out treasure old and new, to get involved in church and community and even politics to rebuild the moral fabric of America, which will protect our land from sea to sea.
