We Are The People

Neh 6:3 “So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”

Nehemiah knew that what he was doing for God was a “great work”. Everything we do in the Name of the Lord is great because it is judged to be so in light of eternity. Nothing is small when the success of the work impacts a human soul.
Let us pray today that every Christian in America recognize the fact that as Jesus said, “just giving one who thirsts a cup of cold water in His Name will not lose their reward in eternity”. It is not always the big thing that we cannot do but the little that we can do that will turn around one life and that person can then impact another for God. The multiplication factor is then at work and our cities and nation will be changed. Never despise the time of small beginnings but work with what you can do and encourage others to do the same.
