Wednesday April 16, 2014 “Change their heart, Oh Lord”

Mark 11:4-6 So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it. 5 But some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt?” 6 And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go.
Whenever God is about to do something great, there are always those who question what is happening because they don’t understand the significance of what God is doing or they attempt to stop what is happening.
Let us pray today that we see how to respond to people who challenge God’s work. The disciples spoke to those who would oppose them just as Jesus commanded them to. The result was the opposition let them go and do God’s will. May we see the power of God’s Word working through us to convince others to join us.
Boldness and courage alone brings the work of God to man in a way that those who once opposed the Lord become His devoted followers. Paul saw and heard Stephen as he was being stoned to death and He was challenged to consider following the Messiah and later he did.
