We Are The People

Nehemiah 7:4 “4 Now the city was large and spacious, but the people in it were few, and the houses were not rebuilt.”

Plenty of room but few people. Sounds like the state of many churches in America today. Because of this homes are not rebuilt. There are many people in America who at one time or another received Christ as Savior and Lord. Unfortunately, many people have never connected with God’s people in a local community of believers (a church).

On this National Day of Prayer let us pray for the church to once again become the place where people gather and homes are rebuilt. It was a great need in Nehemiah’s day and it is also a great need in America today. “Unless the Lord builds the house they labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1
