We Are The People

Neh 8:16 Then the people went out and brought them and made themselves booths, each one on the roof of his house, or in their courtyards or the courts of the house of God, and in the open square of the Water Gate and in the open square of the Gate of Ephraim.

In obedience to the Word of God through Ezra the priest the people built booths of remembrance throughout the land. They built booths out of the prescribed material on their rooftops, in courtyards, in the house of God and in open squares.
May our prayers of agreement today focus on believing Christians living according to ways prescribed in the Word of God. May we all do this through our words and actions in our homes, neighborhoods, churches and public squares so that Jesus be glorified.
