Genesis 3:15 “15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

Welcome to WATP on Mother’s Day. Our prayer time tonight will focus on moms in America. Remember that all women have the heart of a mother whether they are biological moms or not. Each woman is born with a nurturing, healing and protective spirit. That is a gift from God.

Our 3 prayer points tonight will focus on the calling to Biblical Motherhood in America. It is asked that you pray at least 15 minutes between the hours of 6 and 9pm (all time zones). Together we are seeing America turn back to God and righteousness restored to our land.

Prayer Focus #1: Pray that women across the land will see themselves in God’s great plan of redemption. Genesis 3:15 says in what is called the “Proto Evangel”, the first announcement of the Good news that a Savior would come to bring forgiveness and the restoration of man after Adam’s fall, includes the high calling of motherhood.

Mothers will treasure this position given by God if they see themselves in God’s great plan. In Ephesians 1:17, Paul prayer for a spirit of wisdom and revelation to come. Let’s follow that example tonight.

Prayer Focus #2: Pray that moms and grandmothers will become great intercessors for children and grandchildren in America to be saved and fulfill their calling, serving in the churches of America. Timothy, the Apostle Paul’s prodigy, was a man led to Christ and discipled by mother and grandmother 2 Tim. 1:15. He became a great church leader due to mom’s influence.

Prayer Focus #3: Pray in agreement that mothers have the faith to release their children to the Lord’s care as Jochabed did with Moses, Hannah with Samuel and Mary with Jesus. When moms do their best to prepare children and then release them to the hand of God, great things are possible in the future. Pray that mothers overcome the fear of letting go.
