We Are The People

Nehemiah 9:21 “21 Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; They lacked nothing; Their clothes did not wear out and their feet did not swell.”

“They asked the Lord nothing for 40 years in the wilderness.” Wow! That is amazing considering the lack of obedience time and again by God’s people Israel. But cannot this be said of America today? We have been so blessed and yet we have chosen to walk in a wilderness instead of the land of plenty in America.

May our prayers be focused today on the truth that Jesus spoke recorded in Matthew 6:33 “See ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.” Many American Christians choose not to put Jesus and the Kingdom of God first thinking they will lose something if they do. Let’s remember Chik-Fil-A and their decision to honor the Lord’s Day and their recent stand righteousness regarding marriage.
