We Are The People

Nehemiah 9:24 “²⁴ So the people went in and possessed the land; You subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, The Canaanites, And gave them into their hands, With their kings And the people of the land, That they might do with them as they wished.”

God seems to be giving Israel the authority to do as they wish with the people of the land they were given by God.  That is an awesome responsibility.  Whether it be discipling one believer, a pastor being responsible for a congregation or the leaders of “districts” and nations guiding people into the future and governing rightly those under their care – everyone must take this responsibility seriously.

 Let us pray in agreement today for all Americans in leadership positions to seek the Lord as to how we might have the wisdom of God in teaching others to follow the word of God as good citizens in a nation that has gone adrift morally and spiritually.  Pray that the weight of responsibility be upon us all.
