We Are The People

Neh 9:29  “And testified against them, That You might bring them back to Your law.
Yet they acted proudly, And did not heed Your commandments,
But sinned against Your judgments, ‘Which if a man does, he shall live by them.’
And they shrugged their shoulders, Stiffened their necks, And would not hear.”

“And you testified against them that you might bring them back to your law”.
We always seem to think that it is God we return to that will bring blessing to the land but we see clearly that God’s intention is to bring us back to God’s law. The reason for this is that when we obey God’s law we are blessed.
There are many people who “come back to God” yet they choose not to follow His Word. The result is that the spiritual and tangible blessings expected do not come. Many will then turn their back on God – “What’s the use if things remain the same.
Pray with us today that people receive the call back to God’s law that, when obeyed, brings blessings. Also pray that Pastors and other church leaders will rightly teach God’s Word and the value of studying its truth.
