We Are The People

Neh 9:29  “And testified against them, That You might bring them back to Your law.
Yet they acted proudly, And did not heed Your commandments,
But sinned against Your judgments, ‘Which if a man does, he shall live by them.’
And they shrugged their shoulders, Stiffened their necks, And would not hear.”

“They acted proudly and did not heed your commandments”. Pride always results in a fall. Israel thought they knew better than God about life and human behavior. Sounds like America today on the issues of Same-Sex marriage abortion, etc.
God’s clearly defined truth on such subjects must not be shunned because of our “enlightened understanding” concerning such challenging issues today.
Pray in agreement that God’s people beginning with those behind a pulpit will clearly proclaim truth concerning areas of life that threaten the very fabric of society.
