We Are The People

Nehemiah 9:37 “³⁷ And it yields much increase to the kings You have set over us, Because of our sins; also they have dominion over our bodies and our cattle at their pleasure; and we are in great distress.”

Those in authority over God’s people dominated the masses at their pleasure or at their will.  Today, let us pray that the pompous attitudes of politicians who think their role is to “do what they think is right” for the people they are elected to represent be convicted by God’s Spirit to be in touch with the people they are elected to serve and do what is right, not what they think is right.
