We Are The People

Nehemiah 10:29 “²⁹ these joined with their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse and an oath to walk in God’s Law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the Lord our Lord, and His ordinances and His statutes.”

The people in Nehemiah’s day swore that they would walk in God’s Law and do all the commandments.  Jesus said all of the law boils down to two commands:  Love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself.

Pray today that Christian America understands this truth and walks in God’s ways.  Jesus said we can love God and our neighbor and that fulfills all of the law and the prophet’s teaching.  He also said everyone will know that we belong to God because of that love.
