We Are The People

Nehemiah 10:30 “³⁰ We would not give our daughters as wives to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;”

The first thing mentioned that must come under God’s authority is marriage relationships.  Believers were not to marry outside of the faith.  The reason for this is the “pull” toward unrighteousness by the non-Christian spouse and the lack of intensity in following hard after God and His ways as a married couple.

Today let us pray that God’s people help their children choose a godly spouse.  This will provide a strong fabric for society and bring spiritual strengths as the two become one in Christ.
