We Are The People

Nehemiah 11:1-2 “Now the leaders of the people dwelt at Jerusalem; the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine-tenths were to dwell in other cities. ² And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.”

The leaders would live in Jerusalem, but only one tenth of all other people would live in this “capitol” city. The rest of the people “blessed” those who willingly lived in Jerusalem.

As we intercede today on the behalf of our nation let us pray for the many interns, aides, etc. who choose to or are chosen to live in Jerusalem.  Pray that those who are Christians will use the influence they have to help America get back to its Judeo-Christian foundations for life.
