We Are The People

Nehemiah Chapter 11 describes many different kinds of people who were a part of Israel becoming a fully functional nation once again after being exiled for many years from the land they loved.  Actually, the people had to learn how to become who they were once again.

God’s people had to realize in Nehemiah’s day that there needed to be overseers, mighty men of valor, gatekeepers, singers, craftsmen, etc. for Israel to fully function as God’s people.

Let us join our hearts together in prayer today that men and women of God from all backgrounds and skill-sets will use their uniqueness to be in places where they can make a difference in our day.  Pray that people not be jealous or tread on others as we band together to rediscover who we are as Christians in America.
