We Are The People

Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,[a]
To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

Let us pray this day for those who still carry the pain, scars and loss from the events of 911-01 and the continuing war on terror. Pray God’s peace upon their lives and that God’s strength be theirs as America remembers the terrible events that happened in New York, the Pentagon and Pennsylvania.
Thursday is the 13th anniversary of the awful nightmare we experienced as a nation.

In conjunction with “Awakening America Alliance” there will be a Patriot Day prayer walk beginning at 6 pm Sept 11 in Fairfax City, VA. The walk is one mile and it begins and ends at Woody’s Ice Cream Shoppe at 10435 North St, Fairfax, VA 22030. If you are in the area you are invited to join us for this time of community intercession.
