We Are The People

Isaiah 64:1-2 “Oh, that You would rend the heavens!
That You would come down!
That the mountains might shake at Your presence—
2 As fire burns brushwood,
As fire causes water to boil—
To make Your name known to Your adversaries,
That the nations may tremble at Your presence!”

Tonight at 8 – 9PM we gather in prayer for our nation. It is asked that those who join us for prayers of agreement over the Wearethepeople.ME website to pray a minimum of 15 minutes between the hours of 6 and 9PM.
We will focus our prayers on revival in America this evening. Revival is something that happens in the church that eventually brings an awareness of God’s Presence, an awakening to the world around us.
We welcome you to this time of intercession and encourage you to invite someone to join us this week.

Prayer Focus #1: Since Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the church we have lived under an open Heaven. Isaiah had to request that the heavens be open in his day. Pray tonight that God’s people be open to receive the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. For He alone can stir our hearts like embers are stirred to rekindle a fire.

Prayer Focus #2: The Prophet desired for the enemies of God’s people to come to acknowledge the one true God due to His powerful presence in and through the Jewish nation.
Pray tonight that America’s enemies and the enemies of Jesus’ followers in our country come to know that there is only one True God revealed in the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Pray that the Lord move in such a way that all doubt be wiped away as to who is the One True God as what happened with Elijah and the Priest of Baal on Mt. Carmel.

Prayer Focus #3: Pray that there be a godly fear in the hearts of people around the world as they see the awakening of the “sleeping giant”, the church of Jesus Christ in America. When Israel journeyed through the wilderness to the Promised Land, we are told her enemies trembled. May this happen in our day as God’s people walk out of bondage with her inheritance as the sons & daughters of the Living God.
