Monday September 29, 2014 “Go to the King”

1 Kings 18:1-2 “And it came to pass after many days that the word of the Lord came to Elijah, in the third year, saying, “Go, present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the earth.” So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab; and there was a severe famine in Samaria.”
This week we will continue to look at the Bible and prayer for revival when spiritually things seem dry and barren. After years God was announcing that rain would be coming soon to refresh the land but there was a caveat.  Elijah must go to Ahab the King of Israel and announce that rain was on its way.
Today let us pray that Christians with a prophetic voice and access to our leaders will speak to them. May the message be that God desires to send the rain of the Holy Spirit to America during this severe famine of people desiring to hear the word of the Lord.
Ahab had to speak out the plan of God for it to become a reality and this must be done today. “Say to the mountain…”
