1Kings 18:41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.”

The land of Israel had been under terrible drought conditions when the prophet told the king to celebrate the sound of the coming rain. At the time there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Elijah said, “there is the sound of an abundance of rain”. He could hear something with his spiritual ears.
Pray today that God’s people begin to hear with the ears of faith which will enable the church to know when the “rains of revival” are about to begin as the heavens open above us. Pray also that we be bold to share what God is about to do with all people – especially people of influence like Ahab was in Elijah’s day. Elijah believed and he spoke 2Cor 4:13
