2 Chronicles 29:15 “¹⁵ And they gathered their brethren, sanctified themselves, and went according to the commandment of the king, at the words of the Lord, to cleanse the house of the Lord.”

Whenever God was about to do a new thing in Israel, He would command His people to sanctify themselves. Personal sanctification would always proceed national spiritual revival.

Pray today that Christians all over America seek the Lord as to how they can draw closer to God by letting go of those things that distract us from pursuing the heart of God. God has given us the recipe for survival – “Draw near to me and I will draw near to you.”  Let us not only desire revival but also follow His plan and influence others to join us.
