We Are The People

Isaiah 58:12 “Those from among you Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”

We began yesterday considering the subject of revival and the power of being a change agent as God takes His people on a journey of renewal and new life in the church.

Today our prayer focus is on America’s loss of her moral compass as we have cast aside our foundations of faith. Psalms 11:3 tells us if the foundations be removed what can the righteous do. Many Christians feel helpless as we see God’s ways cast aside and the ungodliness of the ways of man being accepted as our new “rule of law”.
Pray today for Christians to use their influence in family, work, education and community in turning our nation back to the Biblical roots that made our nation great. Also pray that those who have “cast off” the restraints of God’s ways be convicted by the Holy Spirit and repent so they might see the error of the humanistic direction of America that can cause a total collapse of morality and sensibility when foundations of faith are removed.
