We Are The People

Isaiah 58:2 “Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways,
As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God.
They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.”

“As a nation they did righteousness”. This is the Word of the Lord concerning His people. Yesterday we learned that God’s people desired to know His ways. Today we discover that the people did righteousness.
In this day of information overflow it is easy to know much but do little. “Where do I start?” some say. Let us pray in agreement today that believers in America be doers of God’s Word. When we choose not do the basics of our Christian faith, God will not allow us to grow in responsibility concerning His deeper truths.
Revival begins when people desire to know God’s ways and do what they then believe.
