We Are The People

Matthew 5:38 “³⁸ “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’”

To slap a person on the right cheek would be to do it with the back of the hand which is the height of insult.  The offender is not only striking the person but also baiting the victim to increased violence.  Pray today that people in America learn to turn the other cheek and thus diffuse the tension and violence in our land.
