We Are The People

Matthew 5:40 “⁴⁰ If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also.”

Jesus is teaching us to give more than one asks for in a lawsuit.  He is telling us to embarrass the one bringing the lawsuit against you by doing that.  Giving away the tunic and cloak would leave the man standing naked before the one making the demand.

Pray today that people in America step away from the litigious societal thinking that has developed in recent years and begin to work things out instead of working each other over.
