We Are The People

Matthew 6:6 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Interesting that Jesus says, “The Father who sees in secret rewards openly.” One would think Jesus would say, “the Father who hears in secret.” It seems that the Father watches how we pray as much as He listens to our words. The Apostle James wrote, “The fervent, effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
Join me in prayer today that Christians who pray for America put their heart and soul into their intercession. Jesus said that the Father will reward openly those who pour out their hearts secretly.
