We Are The People

Matthew 6:9  “⁹ In this manner, therefore, pray:  Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”

We’d call this “The Lord’s Prayer” however it is the disciple’s prayer.  Since Jesus warned against repetitive prayer in the “Sermon on the Mount” let us remember as we read these words of Jesus, “This is but the manner in which to pray” – to not necessarily pray these same words time and again.

Pray with me today that God’s people see this model prayer as a guide.  First glorify the name of our God.  Set Him apart in your heart as the one true Creator God and realize that all our daily blessings come from God who is our Father who desires the best for us.
