We Are The People

Matthew 6:9 “⁹ In this manner, therefore, pray:  Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”

We begin today using what we call the “Lord’s Prayer” as a guide for our daily prayer focus.  It is interesting to note that this prayer, that many choose to pray repeatedly, immediately follows Jesus’ warning against repetitious prayer.

Pray today that people who spend much time repeating rote prayers would come to understand that Jesus was saying this is a pattern for prayer, “in this manner”.  Pray that these people begin to pray prayers from the heart birthed by the Holy Spirit for this land we love.  There is a large segment of Christians in America who will make a huge difference in this land if they learn how to pray.
