We Are The People

Matthew 6:17-18 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Jesus teaches us here that we should not fail to conduct necessary business when we fast and pray.
Let us join together today in prayer that Christians will be able to follow a normal routine as they fast and pray. Jesus struck that balance – we must also be among the people and not be perceived as “odd”. We are to be the normal people of the world in a relationship with God through Christ.
