Saturday March 14, 2015 “Significant Concerns”

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
It can be a fatal illusion to think that our real needs in life are merely physical. Clothes wear out or go out of style. Worry about such things is a warning light that alerts us to a spiritual problem. Jesus tells us not to worry but truth is all of us – people with little or a lot of faith will slip from time to time and worry. If we are going to worry once in a while – worry about something significant like our relationship to the Father and whether He is allowed to rule over every aspect of our life or not.
Pray that Americans from the White House to the nation’s smallest house will be concerned with being right with God first and foremost in life. It is so easy to be more concerned with the things that so easily pass away.
