We Are The People

Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”

They sound like sheep but their hearts are like the big bad wolfs.  In the original language ravenous comes from the Greek “harpazo” which means to pull away by force. But remember Jesus said, “They look like sheep”.  Through smooth words these false prophets deceive the true sheep pulling them from the fold.  Pray today that the people of God see past the “put on” sheep’s clothing and expose those who attempt to draw people away from the simplicity and righteousness of Christ through their enticing words that appeal to those who value man’s wisdom over the power of God.
