Monday April 13, 2015 “Talkers & Walkers”

Matthew 7:21 “21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
Everyone who says, “Lord, Lord” shall not enter the kingdom of heaven but everyone who enters the kingdom must confess Jesus as Lord.  Philippians 2:11.  Jesus deals in this text with destiny.  Talkers are contrasted with those who walk in God’s will.  The destiny of the “talker only” is hell.  In today’s world there is greater value placed on talkers than walkers.  Talk radio is a great example of this.
Please pray in agreement today that Christians not be so impressed with auditory skills of people but instead place a higher value on those who do God’s will from the heart.  Wolves in sheep’s clothing many times can outtalk the true servants of God.  In the end it will be the doer who enters God’s kingdom.
