We Are The People

Matthew 7:22 “²² Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?”

One would think that exercising spiritual power described here would qualify a person for a home in heaven but that seems to fall short when it comes to a boarding pass.  “On that day” (Judgement Day) false prophets will protest – saying, “But we did this, that and the other”.  Those credentials will fail to give them entry to the kingdom.

Pray with us today that God’s people will help those outside the faith in America see the truth that we must first confess Jesus Christ as Lord from our heart before trying to emulate His works.  Works of grace are the fruit not the foundational root of Christianity.  Jesus will judge us by our fruit.
