We Are The People

Matthew 5:1-3 “And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. ² Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: ³ “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Jesus’ announcement of blessing in “valley” times of life is not a “come on” that attempts to sell you something like the, “Congratulations! You have won the chance to win $5,000!”  No, God actually pronounces blessings based on truth of His word.  Remember He is the one who can deliver “beauty for ashes, rejoicing for mourning and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.”  Isaiah 61:3.

 Today, let us agree in prayer that America as a nation humble itself to the point we will see hope for God’s blessings to turn our nation around as we see through the eyes of faith in what God can do, believe and live its reality as Kingdom of heaven citizens on the earth.
