We Are The People

Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

      Those who were listening to Jesus’ words from the Sermon on the Mount were blessed. It was as though Jesus was congratulating those who had become “poor in spirit” (letting go of what they held dear to take hold of these newly revealed words of truth) so they could take hold of the riches of Christ’s words about the Kingdom He would establish in the hearts of men. These would be “Ground Floor” participants living out this new way of living.
Pray in agreement today that God’s people see with new and open eyes what God desires to do in America today through those of us who will take seriously these words and live them out before men in these days of turmoil and unrest in our cities. Pray also that many believers rise up and respond to the call for “Ground Floor” participants in this move of God in our day.
