Thursday May 7, 2015 “Lord Hear My Cry”

1 Kings 8:28 “28 Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O Lord my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today.”
This is the National Day of Prayer and I encourage you through physical and social network gatherings to turn your hearts toward heaven as prayers of agreement touch the heart of God and He responds with forgiveness and healing our land.
“Lord Hear Our Cry” is the 2015 theme taken from 1 Kings 8:28.  We find ourselves in a time of crisis in America.  Let us cry out together in unity for our urban areas, our economy, and the Supreme Court which is looking at some very important issues that we face today.
In scripture there are many instances where the people “cried unto the Lord” and He heard and answered.  This is not the time for weak or silent prayer.  This is a day when deep, sincere intercession must come from hearts that are broken over the state of our nation.
