We Are The People

Matthew 5:6 “⁶ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.”

We don’t think of the starving third world child as being blessed.  However Jesus uses the metaphor for the need of food and drink as a way of seeing the blessedness found in the lives of His people when they desire spiritual meat and drink.

Please pray in agreement today that believers in America will have a spiritual hunger and thirst that will parallel the desire third world citizens have for the basic needs of man – food and drink.  Pray that there be a revelation of the blessed or happy condition of the soul that is desperate for God.
