We Are The People

Matthew 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.”

In the Parable of the unmerciful servant recorded in Matthew 18 who would not forgive a small debt due him by a fellow servant, yet this same man was very thankful that the King forgave his enormous debt. The result was the unmerciful servant was placed in prison until he could pay his debt in full. This of course was impossible so his sentence was life in prison for being unmerciful.
Pray in agreement today that God’s people who have been so blessed to be the recipients of God’s mercy freely release others from the prison of unforgiveness and the shackles of shame.
