Job 13:17 “¹⁷ Listen carefully to my speech, and to my declaration with your ears.”

Job knew that God was in control of the affairs of men as long as man follows God’s commands.  Job tells his friends “listen to my declaration” of trust in God and His ways.

July 4, 1776 the signers of our “Declaration of Independence” undersigned words that proclaimed liberty from the tyranny of the King of England and that document cries out to America today “listen to my declaration.”

Many children have not studied or even read this precious document.  Some parents have never studied its pages or it has been a long time since they have read its powerful words declaring trust in Almighty God.

Pray that today or tomorrow families will gather together and read these words that declare why the colonies wanted to be free of British rule and to establish one nation under God called America.
