We Are The People

Zechariah 1:14 “¹⁴ So the angel who spoke with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I am zealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with great zeal.”

God says that He has a great zeal concerning His people. During a time of struggle and pain, it is so easy to come to the conclusion that God doesn’t care about His people or worse that He hates them. It is easy to see in the Book of Job that it was high on Satan’s priority list to have Job “curse God and die.” But the man refused to give in to that kind of thinking.

Pray that Christians in America see the truth that God is still zealous over us and is waiting to be gracious to us as soon as we acknowledge that His desire is toward us and He desires to bless us as soon as we turn our hearts toward Him.
