Wednesday August 5, 2015 “Lift Up Your Eyes”

Zechariah 2:1-2 “Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 So I said, ‘Where are you going?’ And he said to me, ‘To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.’”
“I raised my eyes and looked . . . “ “I said, where are you going?”
Pray that leaders and citizens alike begin to look up to God once again. Looking to man (humanism) has done much damage because man always looks to what is expedient for the moment, not what is best in the long run (eternally).  Like Judah in 2 Chronicles Chapter 20 may our prayers be, “Lord we don’t know what to do but our eyes are on you.”
