We Are The People

Zechariah 3:5 (NKJV) And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the LORD stood by.

     Yesterday we prayed about God’s people keeping our focus on bringing people to God through Christ Jesus in salvation (being born of the Spirit where old things pass away and all things become new).
This scripture verse reveals the proper order to first see that people receive the turban or as Ephesians 6:17 reveals, the helmet of salvation, and then put on the clothing or amour of God such as righteousness, truth, peace, etc.
Pray in agreement today that God’s people all over America see discipleship of new believers as an integral part of God’s plan to bring America back to God. We must do more than help people receive eternal salvation. We must help them put on God’s garments of salvation which enables them to reach others and create a culture of righteousness through their transformed life. Nothing impacts others more than a transformed life.
